Our Team
Amanda Riensche, LPN, IBCLC
Founder. The Heart Behind Nourished. Postpartum Advocate. Lactation Expert. Motherhood Companion.
Amanda Riensche is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) passionate about supporting families through every stage of their feeding journey. She has been a licensed nurse since 2012, with professional experience as both a pediatric and postpartum nurse, which sparked her deep commitment to the postpartum dyad.
As the founder of Nourished Lactation, Amanda provides expert, evidence-based care to families throughout Snohomish and King counties, offering both home visits and office consultations at Special Delivery Birth Center. Her approach is personalized, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that every family deserves access to skilled lactation support.
Amanda accepts most major insurances, helping reduce barriers to care and ensuring families feel supported from the very beginning. She is currently completing her Registered Nurse (RN) degree, set to graduate in August 2025, further enhancing her ability to serve postpartum families.
In addition to her clinical work, Amanda serves on the board of the Lactation Coalition of Snohomish County, where she collaborates with fellow professionals to advance breastfeeding support and education in the community. She also proudly co-owns the nonprofit Birth & Parenthood Connection, which creates meaningful events for birth professionals and parents to connect, learn, and grow together through networking and professional development opportunities.
Outside of her work, Amanda is a wife to her husband, Griff, and a proud mom to four wonderful kids—Preston, Lyla, Nolan, and Hunter.

Jenny Davidson
Jenny keeps Nourished running behind the scenes by handling billing and bookkeeping. She has extensive experience with lactation specific billing, which has its nuances and challenges. She works hard to minimize out of pocket costs for families and maximizing insurance coverage.

We’re hiring an experienced IBCLC!
Nourished Lactation Care is looking for another IBCLC to join our little dream team!
Are you an IBCLC who loves supporting postpartum families and also loves not doing insurance paperwork?
You'll join Amanda (the heart behind Nourished), and Jenny (the brains behind all things insurance).
What we're looking for:
-Work just 2 days a week (you pick!)
-A good mix of home visits, office visits at Special Delivery Birth Center, and Telehealth visits.
-Flat-fee per visit (predictable pay)
-We handle all the boring stuff like scheduling, billing, insurance headaches, and admin tasks-you just get to show up and be amazing
-We'll help get you credentialed with our insurance contracts
-And best of all: no insurance stress- you don't have to worry about denials, appeals, or clawbacks (we've got that handled)
We're looking for someone who's passionate about supporting families in the postpartum trenches— someone who knows when to bring the science, and when to bring the snacks.
Sound like fun? Know someone who'd be perfect? Email hello@nourishedlactationcare.com to apply or learn more!
